Dan is a true entrepreneur, taking an idea and turning it into the 2011 #1 Zagat rated chain in America for
yogurt and smoothies. After thousands of recipe trials in his own kitchen, he perfected a healthy, all-
natural frozen yogurt recipe in 2006 that has become the cornerstone of a growing empire known today
as Red Mango. As the Founder and Chief Concept Officer of Red Mango, Dan has been instrumental in
building the Red Mango brand from coast to coast, creating a restaurant system that spans North
America with more than 210 locations. For his efforts, Dan has been recognized by numerous
publications, including USA Today, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Dallas Morning
News, Entrepreneur Magazine, MSNBC, FOX Business and Bloomberg television. He has also received
numerous accolades including Zagat’s best quick refreshment chain for healthy options, “Best Frozen
