Taste Buds Management C.E.O. Chris Rodrigue is a 37 year industry professional. Born and raised in New Orleans, LA. Chris attended the University of New Orleans School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Administration. He has had the unique opportunity to work for two of the largest casual dining operations calling New Orleans home. In the mid to late 90’s through 2000, he was the Director of Operations for Copeland’s of New Orleans. During that span, Copeland’s’ grew from 9 restaurants to over 40, and had several sister concepts as well. He held the position of Vice President of Franchise Operations and New Store Development with Fransmart, based in Alexandria, VA working with seven different concepts in the Fransmart portfolio before taking on his current assignment as C.E.O. at Taste Buds, based on New Orleans. Taste Buds’ flagship concept Zea Rotisserie and Grill operates 12 units in southeast Louisiana and Alabama with $40M in annual revenues. Under Chris’ guidance, Zea has achieved near industry leading financial performance, and retention rates. Smart application of technology, a strong company culture as well as a commitment to training and development drive results at Taste Buds. The company has been named one of New Orleans Best Places to Work in 2009, 2010, and 2011. Management training programs, software development and application, facility design, and company culture development skills acquired over the years. He is a member of Vistage International, has been married for 30 years, and has three children and two grandchildren.
