Paul Snyder

Paul Snyder is Vice President of Corporate Responsibility and is based in Atlanta. He leads IHG’s global sustainability strategy and execution for the company’s over 4,400 hotels worldwide. He is also responsible for the delivery of IHG’s entire CR platform in North and South America. He directs the company’s Public Affairs activities, working closely with Corporate Affairs, Human Resources and Legal departments with efforts in Washington and with other bodies to advocate IHG’s interests. Paul also directs IHG’s Diversity work, promoting inclusion and cultural diversity at the company.
Paul joined IHG in 2003 and was most recently Vice President of Portfolio Operations for the Americas. His previous roles have included leadership positions in Development, Marketing, Operations and Brand Management. Prior to joining IHG, Paul worked in the Brand Management, IT, and Development organizations of Marriott International. He started his career in the hospitality industry with Winegardner & Hammons, Inc., where he began as a line level employee and was promoted into managerial positions in both Food & Beverage and Rooms departments.
Paul earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at Lawrence University and a Masters of Business Administration at Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management.
He and his wife Amy live in the Druid Hills area of Atlanta with their two daughters, Abigail (age six) and Madeline (age three).
