As Chief Information Officer, Kristen Singleton provides vision and leadership for The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas’strategic business objectives through the applied use of technology. Singleton is responsible for operating a reliable and stable IT infrastructure, fostering innovation and business partnerships as well as the management of current and future technology products, services and systems across the organization.
Prior to her position at The Cosmopolitan, Kristen Singleton served as Chief Information Officer for Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, where she was responsible for all technology operations ranging from design to installations as well as initiatives for delivering reliable, stable business solutions.
In 2002, Singleton joined MGM MIRAGE as Senior Project Manager and was promoted to Business Development Manager within five months of joining the company. As Business Development Manager, Singleton was responsible for identifying and implementing technology business solutions to enable achievement of MGM MIRAGE’S corporate strategies and objectives, ultimately streamlining the number of property management systems utilized across all properties. Singleton was named Vice President of Business Solutions in 2006 and oversaw business solutions management, program management, project management and application support for the property’s core areas - hotel, casino, food & beverage, retail, media entertainment and security & surveillance. She was also responsible for IT solutions for new property development.
In addition, Singleton has also served as Chief Information Officer for Chasm Industries, Inc., an electronic recycling company, and spent 15 years at Hallmark Cards, Inc. At Hallmark, she joined as Programmer Analyst and held various technology management rolls supporting functions including IT Technical Training, Application Support, Systems Development, Portfolio Management, and Strategic Development.
Kris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems and General Management from Central Missouri State University.
