Chris brings over 28 years of marketing experience to Zimmerman Advertising. Chris knows what it means to wake up every day and face the challenge of growing both the top and bottom line. If you want a perfect example of Brandtailing™, then just look at what Chris did with the Subway brand from 1999 until 2006. Subway advertising awareness went from #8 to #2 in three years and same store sales grew almost 50%. The goals were to establish a clear brand position and develop tactical programs that delivered on the strategy every day, treat the marketing dollars like investment capital and get the biggest return. Following his tenure at Subway, he was Executive Vice President and CMO for COSI RESTAURANTS with the goal to accelerate growth through aggressive franchising initiatives and to build an innovative marketing model to maximize the return on investment. Chris defined the ongoing brand positioning as it related to restaurant design, menu development, guest acquisition and all other marketing initiatives. Chris also spent time with Pepsi as a client and ten years in house with Burger King.
