Co-Chairman of R&R Global Hospitality
During a prolific career covering over 40 years, Russell Dazzio - Co-Chairman of R&R Global Hospitality, has seen action on the front lines of many of America's most dynamic business and leisure traveler destinations such as; Las Vegas, San Francisco, NY and LA. In 1972, Dazzio began his career in the hospitality industry when he joined the Stardust Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, and subsequently was recruited by ITT Sheraton where over a 10 year period he advanced to several senior management positions.
In 1986 Dazzio decided the time was right to test his entrepreneurial skills and founded R&R Hotel Group, an independent third party management company specializing in rapidly turning around "distressed hotels". In 2003, Dazzio steered R&R Hotel Group in a new direction and joined forces with Global Hospitality to form R&R Global, a full service consulting, management and development services company which has grown to represent over $10 billion in assets in 34 countries and 47 states. R&R Global recently created a "Hotel Rescue Task Force Consortium" for the purpose of servicing the plethora of "distressed hospitality assets" flooding the marketplace during the present economic crisis.
Dazzio is a graduate of UNLV's Hotel College, a popular guest speaker and the recipient of numerous industry awards. He was California's delegate at the first ever "White House Conference on Tourism" and presently serves on the advisory boards of JMBM Global Hospitality Group's "Meet the Money Conference", UNLV's Harrah Hotel College and Hospitality Technology Magazine.
