Bill Martin is the Chief Information Officer for Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd. He is responsible for the management of information technology across the enterprise for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd, which includes Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises, Azamara Cruises, Pullmantur (Spain), and Croisieres De France.
Royal Caribbean's technology department delivers industry-leading solutions for both guests and travel agents, providing access to state-of-the-art tools and improving the enterprise's overall operational efficiency. The company operates 39 modern vessels worldwide with a guest capacity of nearly 85,000.
Previously, Bill served as vice president of Trade Support and Service, responsible for the company's North American contact centers, which interacts with travel agents and supports the various company brands. Bill led the company's 2005 opening of a new 162,000 square foot call center facility in Springfield, Oregon.
A 25-year cruise industry veteran, Bill has held various managerial positions in operations, decision support, systems development and revenue management. Bill has a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Bill is happily married, has four children and resides in Miami Springs, Florida.
Bill is also the chairman of the board of directors for His House Children's Home of Miami, a nonprofit agency that provides foster and residential care for children in need.
