Jeffery R. Smith

Mr. Smith has over 20 years of experience in senior operations and franchise management positions in the restaurant industry. He currently serves as a consultant to 2 startup restaurant concepts in South Florida and owns a franchise restaurant of his own. His most recent position of Chief Financial Officer for Salad Creations required his management skills to oversee all accounting, finance, legal, Area Developer development (25 New AD's), franchise development (100 new franchisee's), International Development (10 master developers), Marketing, Purchasing and Training. Prior to Salad Creations he served Rotelli Pizza and Pasta in the position of Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer from March of 2001 to January, 2007. Mr. Smith's experience includes serving as Managing Partner/Director of Operations for a multi-unit Schlotzsky's Deli franchise group, Senior Franchise Business Consultant for Schlotzsky's Deli, Inc where he oversaw 185 franchise units in a 13 state region and was responsible for the growth of 75 new units. He has also been involved as a Franchise owner, Business Consultant or in upper management for such nationally known brands as Perkins Family Restaurants, TGIFriday's, Bennigan's, Chuck Muer Restaurants (Charlie's Crab) and Brown Derby. Jeff started his career as a chef in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
